Graduated at the University of the Witwatersrand with a B. Comm degree in the mid-90’s and recently (in 2015) obtained an MBA from Milpark Business School, Sindi is a strong, ambitious, self-motivating individual with insight into both Business Analysis and Integrated Business Modelling. With over 18 years of working experience, 15 of which have been spent in the Banking Industry with careers spanning from Business Process Analysis to Solutions Integrator and Business Architecture, Sindi has managed to grasp core industry tactics across functional areas.

Sindi’s career started as a Graduate Trainee at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) as part of the Systems Engineering Development (SED) Programme with intensive Systems Analysis and Design Training in Plano Texas that saw graduates transition from no experience to a practical application of systems analysis and design. Since then, Sindi has held positions such as Process and Business Analysis, Business Process Engineering, Solutions Integration, Testing as well as Business Architecture. All experience has been obtained at various Financial Institutions including FNB, Rural Housing Finance, Nedbank, Wesbank, Standard Bank as well as working at the CRM Department in a Municipality.

Thabani qualified as a CA after completing his B. Comm degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting from University of Natal in Durban. He trained with KPMG where he rose to a position of Supervisor. Whilst at KPMG, Thabani moved to the Training Department where he was responsible for developing and presenting training courses to all staff within the firm.

Thabani joined Daimler Chrysler SA as a Financial Accountant and responsible for the implementation of SAP within the Parts Division. He joined Unilever SA as a Management before joining Ngubane & Company as a Director responsible for Training and Development.

After some 15 months with Ngubane & Co, Thabani was invited to Provincial Treasury to Head the Internal Audit Division. His primary responsibilities were to give strategic direction and monitor the progress of the Internal Audit function, including Forensic Investigations, Risk Management Services, and Governance. Thabani has been involved with several Boards and Audit Committees and currently serves Umngeni Water Board and the Council of Medical Schemes.

In the last 18 years, Gift has worked in both the private and public sectors. He spent 6 years with a reputable financial institution doing credit management function. He then moved to a private company to perform financial consulting and advisory services for about 2 years. He was then seconded for two years to KZN Provincial Treasury to assist with the implementation and training of BAS (a financial management system) and HARDCAT (an asset management system) to all government departments in the entire KZN province.

He further got exposure to a municipality environment through spending 3 years with eThekwini Municipality as a manager responsible for area-based economic development. Thereafter he spent a period of three years as a self-employed financial management consultant. He then joined Thabani Zulu & company (CA) SA as a director responsible for business administration and the position he held for 4 years. He once again went back to self-employment for 2 years as business administration consultant.  Over the years, Gift has gained vast experience and exposure in both private and public sectors in the following areas:
